Sharing some more outtakes from my neighbourhood photowalk this week. Think I’m going to start making these a monthly occurrence because it gives me the opportunity to pay more attention to the details in my surroundings which is a rare thing nowadays.

My mind has been cluttered this week with work being busy and a camping trip to plan. I love being someone people depend on for planning fun outings, getting shit done, and even emotional support. But I’ve been running on empty lately and I’m thinking that after this weekend I’m going to need to just reset and spend some time by myself so I can continue to be that person for my loved ones. Mentally I am drained and in serious need to just be by myself and disconnect from the world. Does anyone else feel like that sometimes?

Trench from Yung Squared, Top by Forever21, Denim Skirt from Levis.

How beautiful is this silk trench coat by Yung Squared by the way. In love with it’s silhouette and how it drapes on the body. If you guys haven’t heard of Yung Squared, it’s a company started by Allysha Yung, a fashion blogger from Toronto. They feature gorgeous silk pieces that are made in Canada and are super luxurious and high quality. The trench itself is the perfect summer throw-over or fall layering piece. Definitely worth checking out if you haven’t already.
