The other day I visited my favourite little cafe in Vancouver. Le Marche St. George is this beautiful little gem hidden away in a neighbourhood in Vancouver East. It’s definitely not your usual, run-of-the-mill cafe. Nestled on the corner of E 28th ave and St. George street, it’s this beautiful little neighbourhood general store/cafe/event space/home.

One reason this place is number one in my heart, as far as cafe’s go, is the vibe. The owners did an amazing job making this place warm and cozy and welcoming. The way everything is set up, from the giant pillows on the window seat, to the marble coffee tables, to the usage of reclaimed wood…. In my eyes Le Marché is decorated PERFECTLY.

This time around, I had an iced latte with hazelnut syrup, and a beef pot pie. You should probably never visit here and NOT have a beef pot pie. So. Heavenly.

I also got to briefly chat with one of the owners of the place, and he mentioned to me that they have a pop-up sale coming up in Spring ! Definitely will be keeping my eyes peeled for that.

More soon,
