Sometimes I wonder whether the rain will ever stop. I totally get that the rain in Spring is supposed to help the flowers bloom and all that… BUT I MEAN COME ON. The gloomy weather + the stress from midterms season is really starting to weigh me down 🙁 Thankfully I’ve actually set a schedule for myself and have a dedicated filming/shooting day. I think being able to spend a little bit of time every week to do what I love is what keeps me from going insane.

I’m actually really happy with how this look turned out! I wanted to incorporate some fall/winter essential pieces, such as my booties and trousers, to keep things temperature-appropriate. However, I think the white knit crop top made for a good defining piece that helped ease this outfit, and me, into Spring.

To all my tall girls out there. Do any of you also have this issue where trousers and crop-tops don’t hit you at the right spot? I always feel like I’m showing a little too much mid-drift when it comes to pairing crop-tops and trousers. People always tell me “you’re tall, you can pull anything off” but you guys are all mistaken! I swear everything looks a little awkward on tall girls. Whether it’s too much ankle, too much tummy… whatever it is. Y’all don’t know the struggle we deal with!
