Australia has always been a destination I’ve wanted to visit. There are so many STUNNING natural and manmade sights and landmarks to see (and not to mention BEACHES BEACHES BEACHES). Australia is full of stunning landscapes and should definitely be on your travel bucket list! Wondering what parts of Australia you HAVE to see if you’ve got limited time? Here are 3 Australian cities you can’t miss out on.

Perth.

As we’ve discussed before, Perth is one of the biggest and liveliest cities in Australia, but it’s also visually stunning. The manmade skyline shimmers and glows during the night, and the natural parks, rivers, and other bits of scenery have their chance to shine during the day. You should certainly start by admiring the wonderful Swan River that passes through the city; it’s such a tranquil piece of nature to have embedded in the heart of this bustling concrete maze. You also need to take a stroll through Hyde Park whilst you’re in the city. It’s picturesque and peaceful; a prime example of the way in which Perth and many other Australian cities find a perfect blend of manmade design and natural design.

Brisbane.

Brisbane might not be a city that you often see on the top of people’s “must-see” lists, but that just means people are missing out on an absolute gem that Australia has to offer. For starters, it has a lot of culture to offer. As mentioned over at https://www.australia.com/en-gb/places/brisbane/, there’s a lot of beautiful contemporary art at Brisbane’s wonderful GoMA gallery and the Queensland Art Gallery. As with all Australian architecture, these galleries are also aesthetically-impressive on the outside; the art within is just a bonus.

Of course, when you’re traveling to any of the places on this list, it’s not just about what you can do in the heart of the city but it’s surrounding areas. Brisbane is a well-located city because there are so many beautiful islands sitting just off the coastline, and these quaint little spots are well worth visiting. You should head over to https://www.fraserfree.com.au/fraser-island-tours/from/sunshine-coast/ if you want to take a tour of the wonderful Fraser Island. This small island is full of naturally stunning sights for you to admire. Take a tour around the coast so that you can really take it all in.

Sydney.

This list wouldn’t be complete without mentioning Sydney. Perhaps it’s such a famous tourist attraction that it seems a little basic and middle-of-the-road to include Sydney—but this city is famous for a reason. It has a lot to offer, and a stunning aesthetic is only the first of its many great attributes. Iconic landmarks such as the Sydney Opera House and Sydney Harbour Bridge are awe-inspiring spectacles from the outside, but there’s a lot more to these places than that. The Opera House puts on some wonderful performances throughout the year, and the Harbour Bridge is a fascinating historic site. Sydney has a lot to offer beneath the surface.

Traveling to Australia this year? Make sure you don’t miss out on these 3 gems ?

Until next time,

Angel Zheng
