My first post in the fashion category! How exciting ! And on Valentine’s Day too. Although this post probably won’t go up until the end of V-day, these were all taken shortly after brunch with the girls. We went to Yolks which is located in a very industrial part of Vancouver, down by E. Hastings and Knight St. So we took advantage of cool backdrops and got some outfit of the day pictures !

This Valentine’s Day is the first one in a while that I’ve spent single, so I decided on an all-black outfit to mourn for my love life and match my soul. Ha. Ha. Deep right? (Not really, I’m actually really lame in real life). You can’t really tell, but my scarf is actually a deep maroon colour, so technically I was still dressed to celebrate Valentine’s day… sort of.

Outfit Details :

Jacket : Armani Exchange

Top : Zara

Bralette : Aritzia

Jeans : BDG (Urban Outfitters)

Shoes : Spring

Scarf : Wilfred (Aritzia)

Ever since I purchased this Aritzia pop art blanket scarf, I pretty much haven’t put it down. The size, the thickness, the colour, the design; It’s the perfect scarf for me. Now when I try on any other scarfs, nothing feels the same. I think it’s mostly the texture and size of the scarf that makes it so appealing to me. Because you can wear it diagonally and long like how I wore it in the photo, or you can wrap it around and wear it thick and large ! (It kind of looks like an infinity scarf when you wrap it around your neck once or twice). Sadly, it’s known as the “basic b*tch” scarf because pretty much every girl in Vancouver owns one. But that’s okay, I love it nonetheless.

Now that I’ve got TWO friends who started up blogs, Terri and Janice, hopefully I will be able to get them to help me take outfit pictures more often !

More soon,
