There’s no better way to learn new things about different cultures and different parts of the world than to travel. Vacations are always fun, but I personally love adventures that are more than a poolside trip. Especially just visiting a new city and taking the time to explore the city by foot. That isn’t to say this type of traveling experience can’t be relaxing, but it’s relaxing in a different way to the standard beach vacation. If you’ve no idea where to begin on your journey to new destinations then here’s a guide on some of the most popular cities that people visit!

New York City.

This wouldn’t be a guide to exploring the best cities in the world if I didn’t mention New York City. NYC is the king of urban jungles, as has been claimed endlessly throughout popular culture for decades and decades. It is the hub of all things cool and contemporary, and there are plenty of fantastic, iconic sights. Landmarks such as the Empire State Building and Central Park are both must-see locations for example. Once you’ve spent your time in Manhattan, you can head down to Brooklyn and enjoy the modern coffee shops or unique boutiques and visit the infamous Dumbo photo spot. And then head back to the city and catch a Broadway show! There is always something happening in New York City. That’s part of the reason it’s so great.

Perth.

A suggestion that you might not have expected to see on this list is Perth. Australia has many fantastic cities, towns, and natural wonders to explore. Perhaps you’re keen to start by exploring Sydney, given its iconic status. That is a wonderful city, of course, but Perth has something special and different to it. It’s the largest city in Western Australia, so you might want to look into a decent car rental firm in order to navigate the streets quickly and easy whilst you’re staying there. You could start with a cruise down the beautiful Swan River so that you can admire the city in all its glory. Hyde Park is also a beautifully picturesque spot that is well worth the visit. Still, that’s only the tip of the iceberg when it comes to exploring Perth in full.

London.

The final suggestion on this list is the capital of England. London is such a sprawling city that it’s impossible to suggest everything you should do in one short paragraph. The important thing is that you simply visit this amazing city. Once you’ve had your fill of iconic landmarks such as Big Ben or modern additions to the skyline, such as the London Eye and the mighty Shard, you need to really dig deep and explore the nooks and crannies of this unique place. You could head to the West End to see some of the best shows in the world, such as Annie or Harry Potter and the Cursed Child. You should also visit the classic porcelain piazza at the V&A if you want to see some of the most beautiful manmade architecture in the country.

There are endless places that you could go to for your next trip, but I hope this article gave you some ideas!

Until next time,
