I’m sure the first “official” day of spring has come and passed, but it hasn’t truly felt like spring until this past week. Although we’ve still been getting some classic days of April showers, the weather in Vancouver is finally clearing up and we’ve been getting some consistent days of sun! YAY!

It’s been a long time coming, waiting for sunny days. I have finally been able to dig up some of my spring/summer clothing and it has been amazing. One top that I purchased last summer but never really had the chance to wear much is this off-the-shoulder piece from Aritzia. I love that it cinches at the waist rather than completely bellows out because it allows you to wear it at the small of your waist which makes it really flattering.

Of course, I had to pair it with my Levis cut-off denim. The one issue I have with all Levis denim is the sizing. I’m usually a 25 waist but I had to purchase these in a 27 just so my legs and butt could fit it. The one upside about this—it makes my waist look even tinier in comparison to my butt, because the waist is slightly loose on me. Thankfully I’ve got enough thigh and ass to hold it up!

How do you guys like the new theme by the way? Looking to play around with it more and more, and posting more this summer!

What’s been your favourite spring piece this year?

Until next time,

Angel Zheng
