Crazy how quickly this summer flew by. I feel like as I’m getting older each year just keeps going by faster. Kind of starting to understand why the phrase “time is money” exists now. Vancouver had its first rain in a while and oh man did it feel like autumn. Definitely a preview of the school semester to come (aka going to school at 7 am when it’s still dark out). But I do have to say the cloudy weather is definitely provides more photo-friendly lighting than the blaring sunshine does. So of course I went outside on my break to an undercover area to take OOTDs :b.

I think I’ve finally gotten my fix of chunky turtle necks and have been leaning more towards just round or v-shaped necklines in sweaters. I have a feeling the one I’m wearing here is going to be a favourite this fall. This oatmeal coloured, waffle-knit sweater is from Aritzia’s house brand, Wilfred Free. I have actually been eyeing this sweater since last year but ended up buying several other sweaters instead of this one. But now that I finally own it I’m sad I didn’t own it earlier. The knit is thick yet still very breathable so I’ve been able to make use of it already. I sized up and bought a medium because I wanted it to look and feel very oversized and comfy. The neckline is wide enough that I can wear it off one shoulder (which I am obsessed with) should I ever get sick of the v-shaped neckline. I think this is going to be a great sweater to dress up or down this fall/winter and it’s got me pretty excited for the cooler weather.
