It’s weird, I never used to be much of a Fall girl. I loved Winter and I loved Summer. To me, Fall and Spring were always just transitional seasons into the good ones. But for some reason, this year I’ve been obsessed with Fall. The fashion, the not-too-cold days, the colours… Everything about Fall has really got me falling (haha).
Turtlenecks have been a huge trend this year, and I’ve definitely jumped on the bandwagon. I love this charcoal-coloured one from Aritzia. It’s super light weight and thin, yet still some how keeps you extremely warm. I paired it with a pin-striped over-sized button down shirt (also from Aritzia) to give the outfit some layers and added warmth. With the button down worn underneath the sweater, I can actually wear this outfit out without a jacket. It’s SO warm. I also folded the white sleeves on top of the sweater so you can see bits of the pin-stripes poking out.
I whipped out my good ol’ Marc Jacobs hobo bag for this outfit. I thought that it would be a good, not-so-over-the-top pop of colour. Plus the dark green ties perfectly with the whole Autumn theme.
And then of course, no Fall outfit is complete without a trusty pair of booties. These black leather ones are by Rachel Comey.
