SMOKEY PURPLES ft. Urban Decay Vice 3 Palette

Here’s another look that I created with my Urban Decay Vice 3 palette. I’ve been obsessed with this palette ever since I bought it. It’s just such a versatile palette. It has a really good selection of shimmers, bright colours, as well as neutrals and mattes. Let me know if any of you would like to see a full review and swatches of the palette. I love purple eyeshadow looks because I feel like purple, despite being a pretty bright colour, looks good on everyone. It’s just such a wearable colour. Not everyone can pull off the blues, or the greens, but some how purple just works.

By the way, I totally apologize for these awkward photos of my face that looks like I’m falling asleep. It’s pretty hard taking a picture of your make up when it’s just you and a DSLR. Sometimes I can get a few good ones, but other times, like the ones in this post, I just like derpy and sleepy. Much apologies.

I mention this in the video as well, but I did some things differently with this look. For one, I tried to wing out the purple eyeshadow, so it almost pulls out into a winged shape. If you know me, you know I love my winged eyeliner. So since, for this look, I actually decided not to wear winged liner (or actually liner at all), I decided something had to be winged or else it just wouldn’t feel right.

That’s the other “different” thing I did with this look. I decided that I would wear my usual dark black liner with it. I really love how the no-liner eye looks look on other youtubers, like Jaclyn Hill, and Kathleen from Kathleen lights. So I thought I would try it myself, and skipped the winged liner and went straight for mascara and half falsies.

But of course, I couldn’t help myself, and went back over and lined the other half of my lash line with the littlest bit of black eyeshadow. Just to darken that lash line up a little bit. I think it turned out fine though ! It still really does look like I’m not really wearing any eye liner.

Bobby Dazzle (inner corner and brow bone highlight)
