One thing that I think should be a staple in everyone’s closet, is a good, trusty, classic trench coat. My trench of choice is the Burberry Kensington trench ! I got this piece for my birthday last year from my mom, and I thank her everyday for it ! It is such an investment piece, but we both agreed that it’s something I would be able to wear for a LONG time.
The cut is very simple, no extra cinching or anything around the waist. They did have another trench that has a slimmer silhouette but I chose this particular style because I found it to be more wearable and versatile. I think the Kensington has just enough fabric and is the perfect cut for getting the most bang for my buck. You can dress it up, or dress it down. Not to mention it’s going to be a style that will last. And of course I chose to classic camel/tan colour.
I’m glad that it’s finally chilly enough outside that I can actually put it to use. Expect to see it quite often on my Instagram and Blog posts for the next little while !
